At the White House, Pres. Bush holds an evening press confer-ence. The President intends to talk about his Social Security reform plan and his energy plan. He is also likely to get questions on other topics such as the John Bolton nomination, Senate filibuster rules on judicial nomina-tions, House ethics rules, etc.

Bush replied about deciding to fight over there, rather than here in our home, protecting our people, etc. I wish he would have said:
When has the total number of troops gone over the 2,000 plus citizens that were killed on 9-11???
That was the biggest slaughter of our people, right on the heels of Clinton's neglect.

That response to the vile David Gregory's question about FRC, and whether the Dems basically were being anti-people-of-faith was pathetic. It was evasive, shallow, uninformed, clueless, and more than a little treacherous.
I like and support W. But he's so busy reaching out to his enemies and making sure he doesn't hurt their feelings... it'd be nice if he'd WORK HARD with his FRIENDS sometimes.

The President is exposing Social Security! Stated it goes to pay off current retirres than for government to spend.
