Ten year old problem of no energy policy. High gas prices directly linked to the Clinton do-nothing policy on energy. Thank you, Mr. President.
We haven't had an energy policy in this country. Comprehensive energy policy. More energy at home. ANWR. 19 million acres of land, just 2000 of that 19 million for oil and gas. Liquified natural gas. Only 5 terminals to receive liq gas. Active nuclear energy policy. Less dependent on foreign sources.
re: today's prices... It wouldn't be the same today if we had 10 years ago a strategy. Took us a while to get in, it'll take a while to get out.

He just pointed out that the gas prices are a result of there not being an energy policy in 10 years.

Lil Tommy D probably questions the timing of that question........Since he, and his stalling of energy legislation in the Senate, are, in part, responsible for the raise in gas prices...........He should question nothing.
