Yes, it comes from his memo to Cardinal Keeler, "Worthiness to receive Holy Communion General principles."

No longer will pro-aborts be able to argue that abortion is just one of many issues - - as if Nazis could have argued that "the Holocaust is bad but Hitler has a low unemployment rate."

Umnnhhh...

If you read Bettnet, you'll find that the Cardinal Newman Society had nothing to do with this 'pronouncement' from NY.

Actually, Manhattan was self-declared "non-Catholic" back around the time of the Land 'o' Lakes compact; at around the same time, NY de-listed the college from its "Catholic" directory.

Some time later, it re-appeared for no apparent reason--but its status has NEVER changed, even though the printed directory was inaccurate.
