In other words, by denying the father's request the principal and superintendent broke the law -

As I read it, the statute applies to sex education classes. The Herald story specified that this involved a "story book" -- which makes it sound more like reading class. Hard to tell, of course.

Really nasty part is that any legal appeal would have to go through the Massachusetts courts (you've heard of them, I'm sure!).

Read it again. I would say that any common sense reaing of the statute would have to hold that depicting homosexual couples as a norm falls under the rubrick of "human sexuality issues".

You had to go and be logical, didn't you?

IMO anything dealing with homosexuality is Sex Education - and it should NOT be in kindergarten classrooms.....story book or not.
