You make some very wonderful comments.

Like you, I also believe in being PROactive as opposed to being REactive........and the teachers at my daughter's school actually appreciate it.

When I recently needed to keep her out of school for a time I requested and received all class assignments and homework for the missed time and she worked on them at home. Additionally I spoke with at least one of the teachers on a daily basis.

Parental involvement can and will keep some of this PC crapola under control.

I agree with both of you ,on staying and being actively involved in our children's education!

I myself had good results with my children's teachers and they all appreciate and welcome it!

Exactly!

I've also noticed over the years that there aren't THAT many foaming-at-the-mouth liberal teachers (not yet anyway:)

The teachers don't even like some of the 'approved' crapola, but lacking any parental input, they're stuck with teaching it anyway.
