What your uninformed friend is probably talking about was how the Judiciary Committee, which contained a majority of Republicans at that time, voted not to let certain Clinton judges out of committee. Clinton nominated many judges late in his second term and they were not let out of committee.

BTW, totally within the rules, but libs cry about it saying it was unfair.

When I hear Reid talk, why am I reminded of a small town funeral director trying to sell the window on brass handles for casket, because ol' Jim would want it that way...?

That's good & being the son of a small midwestern funeral director

Enough is enough. It is time for the Senate to vote up or down on these judges.

Let's be fair -- we can't just force a vote. We have to let them have their speeches and cry like sore losers, THEN we'll force a vote. It's fun to watch them when they know they are losing -- they never got past the five-year-old stage in that respect.

"Frist must have the votes....damn....amazing with the Rinos actually backing him~!"

But when will Frist pull the trigger? I can't believe there is no plan in place as to the WHEN?

This is who Harry and Leahy THINK are "moderates" and "The American People"...

******

Fundamentalist extremists, led by Colorado's own James Dobson, are threatening our Democracy.

It might be tempting to dismiss this crowd as fringe radicals, but events last Sunday show why that would be a grave mistake.

On Sunday, James Dobson joined with the leader of the U.S. Senate, Bill Frist, to broadcast a call-to-arms to more than 61 Million households.

The next Karl Rove?

They urged the faithful to pressure the Senate this week to destroy the "fillibuster" for judicial nominees so they can more easily pack the courts with extremist judges.

Now, more than ever, the Radical Right is taking control of our government. It is time to take a stand.

Add your name to a public statement expressing concern on the link below:

Then, forward this email to as many of your friends, family members and neighbors as possible and invite them to join you in signing the letter.

Thank you for standing up to preserve our Democracy.

Sincerely,

Bobby Clark
Deputy Director
