Shawn Cody goes to the Lions.

A pretty good plan actually. Just draft all the USC players since USC probably could have beaten the Lions the last few years.

The station I am listening to said that the pick that Seattle move up two to make Tatupu wasn't even on a draft board---all rounds!!!

Now that is a reach....lol

I read your post about Tom Brady after I had posted #876...we're on the same page here. And to think that some folks still won't give Brady his due...claim he's just a minor cog in a well oiled machine BS.

Yes, and Brady has done it with a medicore at best recieving core and has had completely worthless Running Backs for most of his time there.

Thank you, I had posted Tonga, but yes of course, Samoa.

I remember his daddy well---but, like I just posted, the draft coverage I am listening to didn't even have him being drafted...and you notice it took ESPN at least 10 minutes to find his picture to put up on TV.

Is this a "daddy was NFL" pick, or do you think this will be a sleeper pick?

You don't start for two years for back-to-back national champions unless you are a player.

Know he had a bad knee injury couple years ago. Kiper likes him and he tested well at his workout . The Tenn. games I saw this year he made a lot of tackles and recovered a couple fumbles. I would think he is a solid pick

Okay, then a sleeper----
I know what I am gonna do this next season---I am gonna keep track of his stats and see how he does....hopefully he will do well, I am rooting for him.

I hope so---

I have been listening to a press conference with Bill Parcells and he says that he still hasn't decided whether they will go 3-4 or 4-3---but I do know they are gonna make Demarcus Ware as outside line, not defensive end. (I think) it was a while ago)

"The Buckeyes beat Michigan too last year. Shut them down almost totally. 57-37-6 .600% winning record vs. Ohio State is what I was referring to.

You LSU fans were warned by the bitter MSU fans that Saban was a traveling salesman.

And a good one at that! Saban is a class act. He did a great job at LSU and moved on to his goal to be an NFL coach. Why blame him for that?

I was referring to last year.

They year that both Texas and Ohio State beat Michigan.

OK I understand you, now. Give Tressell two decades and that will be corrected.

Mistake. Should have taken a QB- McPherson or Greene

One player that I was really impressed with wasn't even drafted for his regular position. Is anyone familiar with Matt Jones of Arkansas? He is 6'6 250 pounds and runs a 4.3 40 yard dash which is incredibly fast for someone his size.If he works hard on his receiver skills he could become a dominate force for the Jaguars.Teams would have a difficult time covering him at tight-end because the linebackers and safeties are too slow to keep up with him.If he played wide-out his size and speed would give corners a real hard time.A 4.3 forty for a 6'6 250 pounder is unbelievable.

For what its worth, when he was chosen, the draft coverage that I am listening to had on a "draft expert" that said that one of the scouts for the Jaguars said something about him being one of the best talents he had seen in 6 years...

Can't give you names of who said it, just a scout. But all seemed very impressed with him.

I agree about McPherson and Greene, but I do think we need a lot of work at corner as well. Bryant's hurt a lot and Goodman and Cash (who is always hurt) are inconsistant. I'm not sure if Keith Smith can make it either.
