I'm starting a live thread. Draft is on now. San Francisco is on the clock.
The station I am listening to is shocked that Oakland took Fabian!!!!
Fabian, what a name for a Raider---not real tough sounding is it?
I hope so. I was amazed how far Roethlisberger dropped last year but this is painful to watch!
Rodgers seems to be taking it well. I think he realizes that once he didn't go top 5 that it became a need thing, and everyone drafting so far didn't need a 1st Round QB.
Someone just needs to remind him that Tom Brady was pick #199.
Aaron Rogers was the #1 pick on most mock drafts a week ago and is still sitting there---
looks like the Packers need a new quarterback, so....LOL
One thing this draft is showing is just how much of a "beauty Contest" the Hiesman has become. You have a Hiesman Winner and another player that was on the podium still undrafted.
He's on the phone!!!!!
It was pretty much a done deal that GB would take him, looks like it is happening. That will leave Jason Campbell for the Redskins or Atlanta if Washington goes for more Defense.
What happened to the Seahawks pick. Could anyone let me know please?...JFK
Green Bay picks Aaron Rogers - QB.
Green bay has made thier pick.
Yeah!!! I actually feel happy for the kid.
And GB gets him...
Seattle traded with Oakland. Oakland got Fabian Washington.
I looked on ESPN, but couldnt find out what Seattle got for the pick. Do you know?...JFK
Going to predict the second WR surprise of round 1 -- Atlanta takes Reggie Brown , WR Georgia!
The station I am listening to has a hugh Packer fan, in fact he named his new son Brett because of Favre---
when Rodger's name was called, he said "poor Rodgers, he has no chance. Can you imagine coming after Favre, IF he lasts that long?" ROFLMAO
Did you notice the ovation he got in New York? LOL
Who knows? Ten years from now we might look back at this and marvel that 5 time pro bowl quarterback Rodgers went so late.
Those fans felt for him.
This could be a very good pick for GB. They now have a year , maybe 2, to un-Tedfordize Rodgers and groom him to take over for Brett.
