I'm starting a live thread. Draft is on now. San Francisco is on the clock.
Did you read my post? I said there are too many unanswered questions hanging over the kid's head. NFL scouts will have to base their decisions based on what he did two years ago. And that's too big a roll of the dice when there are better players at that position available, with more recently proven skills.
If he does get picked up, I look for it to be in the later rounds, and only as trade bait. More likely, I expect he'll be playing in Canada next year.
Looks like you're the one who needs a drink.
Too many to count. I was so happy the Pats traded for Dillon last year rather than relying on a draft pick.
Dang, really? For some reason all these years I thought one of the things that was so surprising about Smith's record setting totals was that he wasn't that high of a pick---but,
That is typical for ME, because my brain cells are flying out of my ears all the time..LOL
Seriesly, I somehow thought he was a low draft pick, so I must be thinking of someone else...I'll get back with you if I remember---
So Denny goes defense. Nice pick.
Damn. That's who I wanted.
I would go with Rolle....
you dont need Williams (at least I think they can get Mark Clayton)
Drafts are more fun when someone messes things up! Gives us more to talk about.
Are you ready for some Football?
Lions will get a great pick. Of course, they may also look at a trade.
I heard a Lion fan on Sporting News radio claim that all the Lions need was a safety and they'd have a top 5 defense.
No, the Lions needs a CB. Safety will be fine.
You'd think the Lions will go defense.
That post is not necessarily making me think about football.
Brock Marion is old and is our other safety.
Anybody out there know whatever happened to the educationally-impaired jerkoff Maurice Clarett?
Perhaps so. But with Williams on the board I will maintain that they're morons for not taking him.
You'll please pardon me if my optimism for #18 overall is now somewhat lessened.
Well, it was only one year ago, and Mike Williams had a great showing at the NFL combine. If he's playing in Canada next year, I'll buy you a brewery.
If Williams is on the board, along with DJ... it will be a tough call. But great for potential trades.
I didn't agree with the guy either. So who's now one top of your wish list of the players left?
He's sitting at home waiting for a phone call. It won't come today and it might not come tomorrow.
