mercury is known to cause neurotoxicity and brain damage that mirrors the symptoms of autism.
Considering thimerosal was removed from all children's vaccines around 2000, and most autism cases are diagnosed at 3-4 years of age, if there were a correlation between autism and thimerosal, autism rates would have gone down by now.
But they haven't.
