I would have preferred that a relative hand her a personal item or momento of a man who died in Vietnam because of her. That would have been powerful.

Let's not fall in to a double standard. If it's wrong to throw pies and other assorted food items then it's wrong to spew a mouth full of phlegm and tobacco juice.
If this is not nipped in the bud we could see an array of bodily fluids being launched at people who are merely voicing their opinions.
Let's at least be civil and defeat people we don't agree with in the arena of ideas.
By stooping down to the liberal mentality of childish behavior we become more like them. We lose our moral authority and sense of right and wrong. There should be an outcry for justice as loud as the cries were for previous incidents like this.
Having said that,,,,,I wonder if there will be a video!?
