No problem. The selection is good for those conservative issues. Other candidates could have addressed them as well.
In the final analysis, we don't know WHY the cardinals made this choice over others. It SEEMS to strengthen a European focus geopolitically and on certain moral and spiritual issues (by any objective standard).
It sure was a landslide. Oh well anyone making the liberals go crazy is my favorite.
