Mort was unbelievable basically saying it was horrible to have him as the new pope.

Good thing Mort doesn't need to concern himself with the Catholics' choice.

Sorry, I was referring to another eBay sale of a supposed conscrecrated Host by JPII. This is the second one they have allowed on their site. I kid you not, the bidding got to $9,000,000 when the seller finally pulled the item for sale.

Until eBay changes its policy it seems the way people are dealing with it right now is to bid enormous amounts that they will never be able to collect.

Though uber liberal, you live in a MOST glorious part of the country. The vacation of my life was spent in Monterey, Carmel Valley, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur -- I was about speechless at the utter breathtaking beauty. I cried when I saw Big Sur -- couldn't help but pronounce: this is truly God's glorious handiwork.

You, a confirmed member of the Clown Posse (it'll just be our Li'lSecret), will be put in Column B -- the people who hate me.

Other people have thanked me for the laughs. It is for those people I joke around. For you, I have nothing but contempt.

Right and it should have been Lustiger. (Gloriae Olivae). Instead they pick Ratzinger who gave himself the name, Benadictine. Sheesh. The guy was a Nazi in his youth. I'm sorry, you don't escape that past.

Stop being foolish. All German youth were forced into the Hitler Youth. Ratzinger was an unwilling HY and soon after left. He also deserted the Germa army.

You put forth possibly the worst slander you can throw at a person. You should be ashamed.

That's a hell of an attitude for someone so nearly made Pope to have.
Popes is supposed to be mostly nice.

He also deserted the Germa army.

Lysol helps to defeat the Germa army.

Oh I agree! I feel a kinship with all Christians and could not care less if they are Catholic or Baptist or Methodist or whatever. I hope we are all working toward the greater good.

I hope Pope Benedict lives a long and healthy life! He is in a position to do so much good!

What did Cokey Roberts say today on ABC about the Pope?

I just heard a reference to something what she said on Hugh Hewitt but can't find a transcript.

Anybody?

I just finished hearing the panel discussion on Brit's Show. Stunning, the one who defended the Holy Father the most was Charles Krauthammer. Mort was unbelievable basically saying it was horrible to have him as the new pope.

I missed it. I was rooting for this guy, just cuz I gathered he was the libs' least favorite choice. Sooner or later the libs really need to choose sides once and for all. I am a laid back person. I share a lot of interests with liberals (weed, wine, song) but they have got to drop the socialism and learn to love America. And then once they do that, they'll sympathize better with fellas like this new pope.

Again with the lame CP accusations. What has that to do with your idiotic, insulting and offensive anti-Catholic post?

Have a peek at number eight:
"We made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all."

Good luck, Laz. I'm with 'ya.

God Bless.
