"Iraqi govt says senior insurgent leader caught(Related to Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri) "
Khaleej Times/Reuters ^ | 17 April 2005

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BAGHDAD - Iraq security forces have captured a senior insurgent leader related to Izzat Ibrahim, one of the most sought-after men in the country, the government said on Sunday.
Hashim Hussein Radhan al-Jabouri, a nephew of Ibrahims, was captured north of Baghdad on March 7, the government said in a statement. He is believed to have commanded a militant cell in the Zaab river region of northeastern Iraq.
Jabouri, a former officer in Saddam Husseins intelligence services, received funding from Ibrahim to set up his network and carry out insurgent operations, according to the statement.
Ibrahim, one of Saddams top aides, is the most senior member of the former regime still at large. He is number six on the US militarys list of the 55 most-wanted Iraqis, with a $10 million reward offered for his capture."

CHRISTIAN TAXI FIRM IN TROUBLED SHANKILL ROAD AREA OF NORTHERN IRELAND CLOSES DOWN
Windows Were Broken At Pastor Jack McKee's Home After New Christian Taxi Firms Brings Jobs To Belfast
By Michael Ireland
Chief Correspondent, ASSIST News Service
BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND (ANS) -- A Christian taxi firm set up in the Shankill area of Belfast has closed down following an attack on a Northern Ireland pastor's home.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reports the taxi firm was established earlier this year by Pastor Jack McKee and the New Life Fellowship church. ASSIST News Service (ANS) reported on its formation in March, 2005. See: http://www.assistnews.net/Stories/s05030026.htm. (Pictured: Pastor Jack McKee whose church, New Life Fellowship, formed a Christian taxi service in the troubled Shankhill Road of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Credit: BBC website).
Earlier this week, windows in McKee's home were smashed and his car was destroyed by a petrol bomb, the BBC reported.
At the time, Pastor McKee said he had no doubt that this was linked to the firm. The pastor said he had brought jobs to the area with his company.
In a statement issued on Saturday (April 16), the firm said: "Due to further concerns expressed by the Police Service Northern Ireland and for the sake of our drivers and their families, we the leadership of New Life Fellowship took the decision to close Liberty taxis.
"We will continue to promote and practice the Christian message of love and forgiveness and to pray for all who live and work within the Shankill community and our neighboring communities."
Pastor McKee and his family were in bed when the attack on his home happened. He said he saw three men running away, although he believes five or six may have been involved.
The police said they did not comment on the personal security of any individual. However, a spokesman said if the PSNI believed a person needed to review their personal security they would always take steps to inform them.
McKee told ASSIST News Service (ANS): "My home was attacked during the night by several men. The car was petrol bombed and destroyed, and all the windows at the front of the house were smashed. It was a frightening experience, especially for Kathleen, but we are okay. Please continue to pray."
ASSIST News Service requests that its readers persist in prayer for Pastor Jack McKee, his wife Kathleen, and the members of New Life Fellowship Church and their continued ministry in the area.

re: 235 ex fruit vendor.
NJ Freeper, that is is very interesting, still the man is
on location, so he can watch that building? Or is it something else in the area?
Might be interesting to let him know that you have spotted him.
Makes one tempted to notify someone, that he is on duty again.
Thanks for your reply....

That's interesting too, as the first article mentioned that they were "middle eastern" men. Now we see they were...muslim.
Curious to see how MSM is handling these incidents.
That fruit vendor is what got me hooked on TM to begin with. ;-)

Officials said game wardens and police searched the area on ground and in the air for several hours but came up empty-handed.
TERRORISM: LONDON, KABUL AND JERUSALEM AT GREATEST RISK OF AN ATTACK
http://www.adnki.com/index_2Level.php?cat=Terrorism&loid=8.0.152427448&par=0
The Muslim fellow from Tunisia who used to hang out at the ING cafe in Philly religiously- disappeared when the fruit vendor did. Some time later he came back- very unfriendly- acted like he did not know me when previously he had talked to me every day that we were in ING together and had even asked me out. Weird. Said he spoke 3 languages- French, Arabic, and English. Was having trouble finding a job....I suggested he might want to work for the gov. and at that point he chilled.
That's interesting Velveeta.
