Or maybe Kool Aid?
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Pakistan's Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri yesterday said that while his country had done much to smash the Al Qaeda network and destroy other militant groups, an end to the war against terror was not in sight."

I just got back on today and am seeking more information...It may just be a coincidence that 2 small planes went down right about the same time, but the fact the evacuations were ordered indicates to me the upperlings didn't know what was going on...
As usual further news has seemed to drop into a black hole. Even the initial reports were sketchy. I'm wondering if any Freepers live near Adams/Cumberland Counties PA and could give us an update. Apparently the small planes were observed flying low by quite a large number of people....
Also recall there have been threats against our prime agricultural areas. In PA, these encompass Adams, Cumberland, and Lancaster Cos...

Atlanta: Programmer Accused of Hacking DL Files
From Access North Georgia, "AP NewsBreak: Programer accused of hacking driver's license files," with thanks to Kemaste.
A computer programmer for a sensitive state agency, who apparently was hired without undergoing a background check, has been charged with computer intrusion and theft for accessing Georgia driver's license files without authorization.
The Georgia Technology Authority said Asif Siddiqui was arrested April 28 at the agency's offices near the state Capitol after the agency discovered he had logged into the database outside of work hours without having a reason to do so...
The agency has no idea how many files were accessed or what, if any, personal information may have been compromised, Wade said. The files potentially included names, addresses, home telephone numbers and Social Security numbers of thousands of Georgians...

Al-Qaeda said to favour Canadian recruits
Last Updated Sat, 14 May 2005 15:29:56 EDT
CBC News
OTTAWA - The majority of al-Qaeda recruits in Canada are being trained at home, not abroad, making the terror network a direct threat to Canada, according to a recently declassified intelligence report.
The homegrown recruits are highly prized for their familiarity with Western societies, says the Canadian Security Intelligence Service report, obtained by the Toronto Star.
The group once trained recruits in the hills of Afghanistan, but the camps were dismantled as the U.S.-led "war on terror" became firmly established.
Michael Juneau-Katsuya, who spent 21 years as a CSIS agent, told the Star the U.S. campaign itself has fuelled anger and frustration in a new generation of potential al-Qaeda fighters.
Security investigators have responded to the trend of expanded recruitment by doing things like monitoring internet chat rooms for angry youths willing to join a cause, the report says.
They're also keeping their eyes on who's playing paintball. Paintball is mentioned in Canada's only arrest under new anti-terrorism legislation.
Mohammad Momin Khawaja, a Canadian who's charged in Britain with planning terrorist bombings, played paint ball near his Ottawa-area home in the summer of 2003.
Khawaja is being held without bail.

Abandoned Truck Causes Brooklyn Bridge To Shut Down
Police Look For Driver
UPDATED: 5:14 pm EDT May 14, 2005
NEW YORK -- Police shut down the Brooklyn Bridge in both directions Saturday afternoon after discovering an unoccupied truck on the bridge's Brooklyn side.
Police were investigating the scene and looking for the driver.
Police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Hayes said it was possible that while crossing the bridge, the truck's driver may have realized the car was taller than the height restriction, and left the truck.
The truck was found at about 3 p.m., Hayes said.
All lanes were reopened at about 5 p.m., officials said.
No further information was immediately available.

OPINION SPECULATION (based on cyber surfing and no hard facts): We'll hear that Zarqawi is dead again, again, again, again...and then eventually he will be dead.
Ditto UBL.
And the jihad goes on...

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Japans Sankei Shimbun reported Wednesday high-quality so-called Super X counterfeit US$100 bills were brought into Japan in March by a North Korean freighter. The notes are high-quality forgeries capable of fooling even electronic counterfeit detectors. Sophisticated notes nicknamed Super K circulated in Southeast Asia in the 1990s, but the Super X is much more accurate."

Does anyone know how this Chicago trial came out?
SNIP: Monday, May 9 - Justice for Mohammad Azam Hussain! Members of the Pakistani community and others working in solidarity ask you to attend his second trial. Mr. Hussain, 36, was arrested September 2004 and is charged with failing to tell U.S. immigration officials about his role as an active and founding member of Mohajir Quami Movement-Haqiqi, a Pakistani political party. He has been held without bond, based upon his membership in a political party which is opposed to the rule of the U.S.-backed dictator of Pakistan, General Perwaiz Musharaff. On Jan. 6, 2005, the Chicago Police Department fired his wife, Patricia Eng-Hussain, upon learning her husband was accused in Federal court. At his first trial, the jury deadlocked on the charges against Hussain, and U.S. District Judge James Zagel declared mistrial. Despite the fact Hussain lived peaceably in the United States for 10 years with his wife and daughter, Zagel denied a motion to release Hussain on bail.
