When a person knows right from wrong and chooses wrong it is sin. Adam and Eve had to know what was forbidden before they could become sinners. So must we. An infant cannot determine good/evil therefore is sinless.

Jesus said the kingdom of heaven belongs to ones such as these(children). Matt 19:14

All the Fathers disagree with you. That should give you pause. St. Paul explicitly teaches that through the sin of Adam, all men were made sinners, and death came to all men. Since death is the result of sin, if infants were without original sin, there would be no infant death.

That's the way I see it too.

But in the OT there are instances of a person commiting an UNKNOWN sin.
