I'm Catholic (Haven't practiced since I was in 6th grade) and have never heard that?

I have always considered (Possibly ignorantly), those who are "Born Again" to be Protistants only. Even specific Protistants.

??

Jesus said all must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven.

The "born again" part is universal. It says so, right there in John 3:5.

Any one who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour by his sacrifice on the cross and rising again is born again.

Born again of recent years has been associated with the charismatic movement but historically it applies to Christians who have a personal relationship with Christ thorough his death and resurrection.

All born again means is that one has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I would say that most Americans who call themselves Christians probably fall into that category.

I specified Americans because I always think of Tariq Aziz referring to himself as a Christian and I don't know enough about how "Christianity" is practiced in other parts of the world, but it seems that TA was called a Christian for reasons other than following Jesus.

At baptism, you are born again.

I hope you don't take offense at this, but if you are trusting in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation you are a "born again" Christian no matter what your denomination happens to be.

Jesus himself told the man who came to him by night seeking the way of salvation that a man must be "born again" in order to be saved. The term became associated with strict fundamentalist Christians after it was used by Jimmy Carter in the famous Playboy interview, and it has since acquired a negative connotation in the minds of many Christians who should know better if they have ever read the New Testament.
