This school is going down. Time for some house cleaning it seems. Their (the school's) insurance company isn't going to like this either.

As a side note. I need some doublespeak(PC talk) translated. What exactly are "developmental delays"

I would sue the school, the individuals involved. I would go and picket outside the individuals homes just so their neighbors know they condone rape and assault. I would contact their church or what-have-you and make sure everyone there knew they were filth. And it would not stop there.....

Developmental milestones are determined by the average age at which children attain each skill, therefore, statistically, about 3% of children will not meet them on time, but only about 15-20% of these children will actually have abnormal development. The rest will eventually develop normally over time, although a little later than expected.

A developmental delay occurs when your child has the delayed achievement of one or more of his milestones. This may affect your child's speech and language, his fine and gross motor skills, and/or his personal and social skills.

A very Un-PC way of saying that is she rides the short bus. I read that story and my blood started boiling, we have a family member that is mentally handicapped and for that principle to not want to call the police on a rape that happened on school property while on his watch is beyond belief. Had this been my daughter and they waited an hour to call me then told me not to call the police there would have been somebody being bounced off the walls.

Why on earth were these kids in the auditorium without adult supervision??
Developmental delays could be anything from motor, social, language or other areas where the child is behind expected development.

This would be any number of issues. I am familar with Down Syndrome. They are very trusting of people, that is why they are such targets. They are the most innocent individuals.

I am going to make some phone calls and ask some questions.

Developmental delays can mean several things, but for sure the girl is in the special education program. She is probably listed "MID" - mildly intellectually disabled - because her IQ scores are low.

It means she is special education. The reasons are numerous. It is likely she should be separated from others for her own protection and her own needs but its no longer PC to keep special ed kids out of regular classroom.

Developmentally delayed...sounds to me the sick f*cks who did this are developmentally delayed. And the school administration that took hours to wade through a "moral and ethical delimma for the school" aren't far behind, either.

Not only is this school going down. The school system is going to take a major whack.

Dozens of sexual assualt charges.
School administrators lack of oversight.
Security company misfeasance.
Teacher negligence (why weren't these students accounted for at a specific time /location?)

I would have the most vicious lawyer ripping each of these of defendents and dozens of others a new a$$hole.

Lawyer lottery times ten!!

Per Glenn Beck, the girl has some sort of speech difficulties.

Read elsewhere that principal is on unpaid leave and they are in the process of terminating her. Other 3 vice-principals are on unpaid leave, and will be transferred to other schools.

"developmental delays" can be a variety of things.

Usually it means that the kid is what we used to call "slow".

My daughter is very mildly autistic. She is "developmentally delayed".

I actually find this a blessing in disguise, because she is 13, and yet so far is more interested in playing with her Pokemon game and roller-blading than she is in being "sexy" or chasing boys.

""developmental delays""

This can be a number of different learning disabilities, from fine motor skills to eye hand coordination problems. In addition, there are others more severe. Reactive Attachment Disorder, AD and ADHD also can be identified as developmental delays.

It's worse than doublespeak or PC talk, it's Educationist jargon.

Designed to frustrate/shutdown responsibility to and communication with parents.

It simply means she's retarded or slow. How much isn't mentioned. This is sickening.
