The wedding. Ask not which wedding. This week played out like a really bad movie. The Brits could have slugged it 'One Wedding and Two Funerals.'
May I sugggest a wedding gift to her be a panty girdle? When the woman stands sideways she looks like a set of keys. I've spent hours pondering why this lady bothers me. And I finally figured it out.
If she lived in a small American town, we'd consider her trash. She's basically nothing more than a cheater.A married lady who engineered a long time affair with a married man. There are not nice names for women like that.
With her track record she could get a walk-on (or a lie-down) on 'Desperate Housewives.' And now she is to be honored?
Crowned heads will fuss over her, invite her to castles, make her the chairlady of chairities like The Care and Feeding of the Engangered White Rhino of Tanzania.
She'll live in a palace? High society will pay homage? Buy her gifts? The rich and famous who have to pay to have dinner with this pair will call pals on cellphones to breathlessly announce, 'I acually spoke to Camilla?'
Next up is HBO makes a TV bio pic of them. A couple of queens in Greenwich Village who just saw the movie 'Beautshop' suggested Kevin Bacon.

No, not poor Camilla. Poor Diana.
This just goes to show you, wreck a marriage, get rewarded. Sick.
Prince Charles backed out of the driveway, only to discover he had run over the Queen's pet Corgi.
As he got out to survey the situation, he noticed an old lamp half-buried in the yard. As he dug it up and dusted it off, a genie popped out!
"As a reward for freeing me, I grant you one wish", said the genie.
"Can you make mum's dog live again?" said the Prince.
"I dunno", said the genie. "He's squashed pretty flat. I don't think I can put him back together again."
"Well, if you can't do that", said the Prince, "Maybe you can do something else for me". He took two photos out of his wallet. "This is my first wife --- see how beautiful she was? Now this is a picture of my second wife. Can you make her as beautiful as my first?"
The genie looked at both photos, then said "Let's have another look at that dog..."
Well, cricket, I'm 65, and I have a body like Adonis - it's a photo of me when I was 27.
I'm hoping for 'Happily-Ever-After' for Charles and Camilla. They earned it.
I don't care about the 'could'ves and would'ves' in their lives. They finally got together, and they seem to love each other, and they appear to be happy together.
We should all be that lucky................FRegards
I really don't get all the hate of the last few days.
The hate hasn't been just the last few days. It's been going on now bigtime for about the last couple of years on FR, although it seems to be escalating to the point of being reasonably out-of-hand.
Yes, Cindy Adams is old, so she, more than anyone, shouldn't be making nasty comments about middle aged women who have had kids and don't look young anymore. I wonder if Cindy ever had kids. Maybe that's why she maintained herself better than some. Who knows. She's still a really mean writer. She must pop a vicious pill every morning when she wakes up.
A number of years ago my husband and I were invited to his bosses wedding. This boss had been married before, to a woman who was loony, had two children, became unhappy, had an affair, divorced the loony wife and prepared to marry the woman he had an affair with.
I found it insulting that these two people, who had behaved so badly, had the collosal nerve to ask people to stand up and support and celebrate their union. I refused to attend.
Go get married quietly if you think you need to be married. But don't throw your bad behavior in my face and ask me to support it. That is what has happened with Charles and Camilla. We're supposed to put aside the fact that they have been pigs and now support their "romance". Barf.
Well said, Gonzo. . .and agree totally.
I think Chuck and Bridezilla are both a joke.
Prince Charles and John Kerry have a lot in common.
And if I remember correctly, she raved about Liza Minneli's wedding.
I am forced to conclude that Cindy is not only viscious, she is a hypocrite of extraordinary caliber.
Blame enough in the Charles/Diana mess to go around. It was a tragedy, although if Diana hadn't been killed in that car wreck she probably would have remarried and all of this taking sides wouldn't be happening.
Camilla and Charles are not Americans, don't affect our lives, and deserve to have whatever happiness they can muster. Even if Camilla becomes the queen, it STILL won't affect us.
I believe everyone should direct their attention to the Bolton hearings today and DROP THIS SUBJECT!!
In Mark Steyn's anthology, he has a column about Liza Minnelli's wedding that is hilarious. Cindy Adams is quoted as gushing about it as "the marriage of the century" or something ridiculous like that. I believe she was a bridesmaid, if you can believe it. Typical Mark Steyn: brilliantly written humor that leads to very interesting insights about larger issues.
The more I think about Cindy Adams, the more I am offended by this column. Apparently she has no shame.
I don't think Cindy likes Camilla.

Agree. . .Cindy IS vicious and reveals herself to suffer from 'classic Liberal-Feminist syndrome'. . .which puts her on the 'cheap ride' as well; on the 'values' wagon. . .
(Am ready for Bolton AND the low-road, Demrat challenge. . .)
Good heavens! We kicked these people's butts - more than once - a couple hundred years ago! Why are we so concerned with them now?
Cindy Adams is vicious. If you want to be really offended, check her archives and see what she wrote about the delegates to the Republican convention in New York. According to her, all the fat, loud, rubes and yokels from flyover country were clogging her streets and causing her aesthetic distress with their presence.
