All the smart men that I know including the one that I look at in the mirror when I get up in the morning have their feet solldly planted in the nineteenth century. This is a problem because most women have their feet planted in the last half of the twentieth century as well as the century that we are all presently living in. This transcends the red state, blue state thingy. Smart men looking for women who have not progressed are going to have follow the telemarketers and look to outsource from Asia.
Why would a smart man want to?
The old saying "Don't marry out of your class" applies to dating and intelligence too.
The only 'secret' to a smart man being successful with women is to stick to the smart ones.
And fortunately we have come to the right place, because any woman smart enough to hold her own on FR is smart enough to be beyond being 'managed' by a technique or skill set.

When I saw the title, I thought this might just be a thread with useful information for a highly intelligent guy like me.
Turns out, it is an article about how a smart guy can act dumb enough to have dating success with women that are dumb enough to want to only date dumb guys.
I learned how to act that dumb when I was in my 20's.
What I really need is an article that has useful information on how highly intelligent guys can find women smart enough not to be attracted to dumb guys, but not so smart that they play dumb hoping to find intelligent guys pretending to be dumb based on reading this article.
The author seems like a bitter loser.
I have a high IQ and did well for myself. If there was a woman I didn't date it was because I didn't want to. Most were just too stupid or boring. I married an intelligent woman who was neither stupid or boring. I also married later in life, also by choice, not by failure.
And top that off with being given FALSE information, and the men are driven crazy with the illogical actions of women.
I stopped reading right there. What does it matter? Both the person with the high IQ AND the caveman will have the sense to outrun you. One of the choices should have been to question the need to walk across Africa. If that doesn't work at least select a handicapped caveman. :-)
The solution is to use your smarts to make money -- THAT attracts women like bees on honey.
I can explain it more simply. Smart kids are generally treated poorly by their peers from an early age. This generates an inferiority complex and social awkwardness that lasts into adulthood. Many women can sense this lack of self esteem and social experience and are repelled by it.
Doubt this is true. Sure, many intelligent geeks fail with women, but it doesn't prove the thesis.
Maybe I'm biased; my IQ is in the 160-70 range. Prior to being married I probably "dated" (even if only for a night) 100+ women. So my personal viewpoint questions this idea of "I'm so smart that's why I have no luck with women" angle.
