Miss V is adorable. :) Hope her cold is better.

Including her precious little friend in my prayers.

How sad that the baby's grandmother decided to deny herself, and her family, the joy of the love from a precious baby with their own blood flowing through her veins. How doubly sad that the family allowed her to "browbeat" them into denying themselves as well. That is shameful.

God bless you for being "grandparent" to this little girl. I know both of you, and others, are blessed because of it already.

If Miss V's cold, my wife's bronchitis and whatever it is that I've got (taking antibiotics for whatever it is), are cleared up by Friday, Miss V, her Mother, and her I may stop in to see Keira and her parents on our way back from visiting Miss V's grandma. (We live about 3 1/2 hours apart, due to job factors, but that's an improvement over 5 1/2 to 6 hours we were since 1999 and until a year ago.)

Keira actually lives only about 1/2 hour from Miss V's Grandma.

I just checked Miss V's blog, and she is feeling better today. However she reports on the case of the missing sock:

Or, if you see a red x mash here

I know Halloween is over, but I have one more scary story. When the Mommy put me down for my nap I was wearing two peach socks. They have little white bows with red flowers and match my outfit. When I woke up, I was wearing only one sock (this is often the case). Mommy looked under the blanket in the crib for my sock; she looked on the floor in front of and on the sides of my crib for the sock; she looked behind my crib for the sock; however, there was no sock. Mommy thought because I was crying so loudly that maybe I had swallowed the sock. Luckily, she decided to change my diaper first and she found where I had hidden the sock. Then Mommy washed both socks. Wasn't I clever to fool mommy!

I posted that I was proud of her. :)
