Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.
You are ever in our prayers!
Continued prayers, old friend. Just place your burdens in GOD's lap and let HIS will be done. Fight the good fight and know that you remain in our hearts and prayers.
TC, you'd make a rattlesnake take mean lessons, ya phart! You'se one tough hombre! Way to kick (insert illness/disease) (censored) all the way!
Love you, TC. I'm praying for you.
The fact that you're still standing, typing, fighting after all of these things is a wonderful testament to your fortitude, the prayers of the saints, and God's wonderful intervention.
God bless and HEAL you, TC, and soon.
Great post TC!!
God love you.

God bless you, friend. You and your family are ever in our prayers.
Some of these posts make my eyes puffy too. Such beautiful prayers! My own are rather drab, but He doesn't seem to mind. They're brightened by the mention of special people like you.

So good to hear from you, TC. You remind me of another Texan I know about who has gone through so much and come through it all with a smile on his face...just amazing. I think you call him Punkin'. You've still got a rough row to hoe, but we are taking your needs before the Lord, and praying for you every day. I can tell your faith is strong - ours is too. God is faithful. We must wait on Him. May His loving providence, and tender mercies surround you and yours and provide for your every need to bring you through to complete healing ang good health.
God bless,
LucyJo
One of my favorite passages:
Isaiah 40:
"28": Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
"29": He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
"30": Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
"31": But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Prayers and good thoughts heading the Cowboy's way from San Francisco. God Speed!
You know, I told you that one of my favorite passages is Isaiah 40:28-31. Here are the words to one of my favorite hymns based on that passage (Thought you might like reading them too):
:-)
Teach Me Lord To Wait
Teach Me Lord To Wait
Down On My Knees,
Till In Your Own Good Time
You Answer My Pleas;
Teach Me Not To Rely
On What Others Do,
But To Wait In Prayer
For An Answer From You.
"They That Wait Upon The Lord
Shall Renew Their Strength,
They Shall Mount Up
With Wings Like Eagles.
They Shall Run And Not Be Weary,
They Shall Walk And Not Faint."
Teach Me Lord,
Teach Me Lord, To Wait.
Teach Me Lord To Wait
While Hearts Are Aflame,
Let Me Humble My Pride
And Call On Your Name.
Keep My Faith Renewed,
My Eyes On Thee,
Let Me Be On This Earth
What You Want Me To Be.
"They That Wait Upon The Lord
Shall Renew Their Strength,
They Shall Mount Up
With Wings Like Eagles.
They Shall Run And Not Be Weary,
They Shall Walk And Not Faint."
Teach Me Lord,
Teach Me Lord, To Wait.
