Truly a testament. Let us hope we don't let him down. He's still watching over us
Just not here on earth

This will be remembered as one of those few moments in history when most of the world was able to come together.

Thanks Carolinamom, I feel Blessed to have everybody here from all different faiths today. I feel a great sense of peace among us right now, knowing that this great man is now looking out from God's window down upon us. I want to be there someday and touch the face of God, and I thank John Paul II for bringing me back from my blind ways and ask for everyones prayers that I continue on with my eyes wide open.

Thats what is good about the fox internet live feed. You hear nothing other than what is happening.

I think the fact that a gathering such as this can happen without a terrorist attack tells us that our enemies are not very strong.... OR.. that our military and intelligence is incredible. Would be intersting to know how many US fighters were flying nearby.

So true. I love that mental image of Pope John Paul II looking down on us from God's window, don't you?

"How many legions does the Pope have? "
Over a billion Catholics and many many admires who aren't Catholic. :-)
I heard that it was Reagan, with the Popes message that brought down the Soviets and the had a mutual admiration.
Perhaps Reagan was divinely inspired...and so too Bush to seek liberty the world over.
Let Freedom ring. :-)

Please give us here at FR a report when you return.Gladly. You can be sure we'll be an St. Peter's that Sunday to receive the new Pope's blessing.

I am watching that Fox Live Feed....there is no audio....they are showing the crowd leaving.
Fox 11 LA left the network coverage, and is showing COPS.
I guess I should head back to bed.

Bill Sammon has a column on the contrast in their behavior between clinton and Bush while in Rome. Be sure to read it in The Washington Times today.
