Wasn't....aware....that....we....were...."Fighting". Maybe.....I am on the wrong forum here??
Somewhere I read "as much as it is within your power, remain at peace with one another". One of the fruits of the indwelling Holy Ghost, within the human spirit of the believer, is "self control". Does the Catholic Church teach that doctrine ?????
It is ok to get angry, but "be angry and sin not" If you loose your temper you will not be able to think clearly and answer my questions.
Saint Paul said "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". The Pope is absent from the body as far as I can tell. He was a Christian, therefore he is in the wonderful presence of the Lord, so what can you do for him with your prayers that the Lord Himself already can do better than you ??? How could you possibly know the needs of the Pope right now?? God already knows them and is meeting them as we correspond apart from any of our prayers for his soul.

I'm not angry, I apologize if I gave you that impression. "No dog in this fight is an expression". I am a wee bit frustrated because my original post was made to fellow Catholics who should completely understand what I said because it is Catholic.

It was not my intention to engage in apologetics with non Catholics, but I will ask you one more time, is it not reasonable to expect faithful Catholics to follow Catholic doctrine and pray for the repose of the soul of the head of the Catholic Church on earth? (regardless of whether or not you accept it as true).
