If you want to use a forum to bring down our President, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney and Judge Greer, then you would be more comfortable on Democratic Underground.

No one is trying to bring down anyone. We are all upset with the bush's for a good reason. Stop insulting us by telling people to go to DU.

This happened on Jeb Bush's watch and President Bush's watch. It will be in the history books. We are shocked that they didn't rescue Terri. I'm only bashing them on Terri threads because they made a mistake, both brothers. MMMMMMMKay???

If they want to hold on to a large chunk of their base, the GOP better fix this problem because it gets any worse.

The law of the land is not Greer's order.

It's the Constitution, which Greer overstepped.

The judiciary has NO AUTHORITY to ENFORCE its rulings. The executive branch has the authority to enforce laws.

The judiciary has NO AUTHORITY to WRITE or BREAK laws. If it does, the executive branch has the authority to IGNORE such orders.

The legislative branch is to make laws.

If their laws are unConstitutional, the judiciary's DUTY is to bring that law into ALIGNMENT with the Constitution, not WRITE laws from the bench.

Jeb and the President and Congress and the Florida legislature gave away their Constitutional Powers to a lowly probate judge.

The Constitution is supposed to be the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. No state can legally make a law which breaks the Constitution. The Constitution states that the right to life is an inalienable right, one that cannot be given or taken away. The Constitution is in place to protect those whose lives are threatened, so each person who is to face a death penalty is afforded due process.

Unfortunately, because this was not done, many are to blame, including the Florida Governor and the President of the United States of America. That they happen to be Republicans or with the last name of Bush does not take away from their culpability.
