A woman called a talk show, who volunteers for a hospice, in NYS. While there are many hospices that are bragged about, I am hearing more and more negative stories about hospices.
The caller said that one of the problems she has had with the hospice as she sees it, is
how it is
practiced, & that they use unbelievable amounts of drugs, & she actually
counted 14 different
drugs that one patient was taking, and when she questioned this she was
told that
it really didn't matter because the person was dying anyway.
What bothers me more than the 14 drugs was that they said it really didn't matter because the person was dying anyway.
This is small compared to what they did to Terri, but here's a snippet that I read from lifenews.com:
"Meanwhile, is the hospice industry an activist contingent of the right-to-die movement?
"Ron Panzer, President of the pro-life Hospice Patients Alliance (HPA), contends that hospice workers all over the country are routinely killing patients.
"Those who report to HPA tell us theyve overheard nurses saying things like, `Im just like Jack Kevorkian, only I do it with morphine. And they get away with it week by week because its hospice." (LifeNews.com).
I wish we could find a way to let many people know that they should investigate where they send their loved ones THOROUGHLY, and monitor their loved ones medications (whether it be a hospice or ANY health care facility).
Did you notice the Palliative Care experts interviewed on Fox and other stations? Many of them repeated the insane montra that STARVATUION and DEHYDRATION are NOT painless. It is most definitely a profession which has been deeply corrupted.
It was sheer horror for us to know what was going on in that room but imagine how Terri felt. NEVER FORGET. NEVER AGAIN.
