Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Posted on 04/03/2005 5:19:05 PM PDT by floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

Certainly she would have "WANTED" a divorce! I would like to know how come the court didn't grant her that wish.

-------
Geez maybe Greer respected her religion and didn't allow a divorce, think? No that can't be the reason. hmm
Maybe Greer didn't consider Terri as a human being, after all he did appoint Dr. Death Cranford for the tie breaker.
Death wins sort of thing. Greer is a monster. How can he be a Judge of people when he doesn't respect life?

Well, Fox News LIED about covering Delay's speech to the NRA. They showed him starting to speak, then when he made no bombshell pronouncement about his critics or about resigning(as Geraldo was hoping), they cut away and refused to air a further word. Said they'd "monitor" it for us in case he ever said anything "newsworthy". Like I said, they LIED. My disgust with Fox News knows no bounds!!!

Ditto.....

The ONLY reason I had Fox News on all evening was to hear DeLay's speech to the NRA.

They are really getting on my nerves!

"Who are you and why am I accountable to you? If you would like to speak with our attorneys, let me know."

Please explain your remark. Is this another threat of some kind of legal action against FR or our participants?

"Felos has championed the cause of death with dignity since the late 1980s ..." In the case of Terri Schindler Schiavo, Felos championed the imperial authority of an oligarchical judicial rubber stamptroop to execute a disabled woman via an execution order from a probate judge given wide latitude to ignore the 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard ... under the specious guise of 'upholding her wishes' of course and you love that part, don'tchaknow.

Just so there's no confusion, I consider that specious guise the crux of those we are found debating of late and I don't consider you one of same.

Just my impression:

a question was posed about what was copyrighted and what was not...in re something from the Empire Journal site. The reply questioned who was the poster who wanted to know, and suggested they contact the Empire Journal's attorney for the information. Jim is concerned that the reply might hint of legal action against FR or members.

I did not get that from the exchange, which may be worth nothing to anyone. My two cents, however.

I HOPE THIS AMOUNTS TO NOTHING AT ALL. I LOVE FREE REPUBLIC AND THE EMPIRE JOURNAL.

Great post. I'm glad that you have the passion as I do.

These spineless Republicans had better start supporting each other. Just when we think we have a hero, they end up disappointing us.

Why don't the RINOs talk about Nancy Pelosi stepping down for actual wrongdoing, instead of bashing their own for doing NOTHING wrong.

Now let's take a look at the OTHER SIDE OF THE AISLE at the holier-than-thou Nancy Pelosi who was fined for wrongdoings.

Hey Republican politicians, have you missed this, or are you too busy criticizing your own?!

We have to call our Republican reps and tell them to support Tom DeLay.

Why would I need to talk to your attorneys? What did I do? Are you insane?

Perhaps, just perhaps, the aside was to allow the attorney to explain the vagaries as Scoop isn't claiming to be an attorney and has a right to try and protect intellectual property. HOWEVER, if it was a threat (which I don't read it that way), it was way beyond out-of-bounds.

Isn't it sad? Tom DeLay can't fight the world alone, but he's trying.

I'm calling Tom Delay again on Monday. The games being played in Pinellas County and Florida must come to an end.

I'm with you floriduh voter. It is unbelievable what is going on in that state. Now, the second child was found murdered, Terri was murdered and remember the lady who asked Judge Greer for a restraining order to keep her husband away and Greer refused stating there was no evidence the guy would hurt her. Within a week he stabbed her to death. Then there is McCabe, Grist, etc.,etc.

By the way, I have resigned the Republican Party and am now a staunch Independent. I've had it with the Democrats and now the Republicans. With the way they have handled illegal immigration and how they all wimped out (except Tom Delay) in Terri's case - enough!!!

Hmmm. Could his speaking engagements be a good place for a FReep? Just a thought.

"Hospice patient volunteer, and Board Chair of the world’s largest non-profit hospice, he has guided patients and their families in their quest for humane and dignified end-of-life-care."

So much for the naysaying turkeys who violently denied he had any official connection with hospice.

I missed earlier threats of lawsuit. Bad, bad, bad. I'd say Jim has taken care of this by now.

Tancredo Phone 1-202-225-7882; Fax 1-202-226-4623.

House Majority Whip Roy Blunt Phone 1-202-225-0197; Fax 1-202-226-1115.

Pelosi was fined only 21K for over 100K in violations--why not fined the amount of the violation as is standard practice?

McDermott should be booted for the Newt tape--and will get what's coming when the ethics committee gets past Democrat obstruction.

But the Democrats don't want the ethics committee operating--because it will promptly clear Tom Delay of all charges.

The Democrats don't want an operating ethics committee any more than the Greer-Felos cabal wanted Wecht observing the Terri Schiavo autopsy.

Sunlight is harmful to the evil, beneficial to the good.

The Dem's and GOP might as well go ahead and announce the merger.
