Laconia, NH After Action Report [Operation Infinite Freep]
vanity | 04/02/05 | Vanity

Posted on 04/02/2005 10:29:57 AM PST by UncleHambone

Our local Peace and Justice club has set up on a local corner on North main Street in Downtown Laconia every Saturday afternoon from 11:00am til noon, since the war on terror began. I admire their perserverance and dedication (though terribly misguided), and I've always been dispointed that I didn't take the time to stand up for MY opinion. So today I finally stepped up to the plate. Of course I had to pick a miserable rainy day! By the time I got my act together, the hippies were just breaking up, so there was no confrontation, but one of the protesters did drive by later and said "whatever" to me. Other than that there was quite a few folks who waved or honked in the hour I was there, and a couple who actually stopped to say a few words of encouragement.

Anyone want to do this again next weekend? I am sure the weather will be better!

Cheers to you, way to go. When you hear shots from a .454 casull this spring, don't be alarmed. It's just me, in my back yard, here in Canterbury, target practicing. Drop by sometime.

It is time for everyone at this site to stand in the street and support the troops and against the new rise of the Communist.

EXACTLY how I started my Freepin'...one man on the side of the road. Of course, it wasn't in the kinda crap-weather we had last weekend....but I've since Freeped in the worst weather Boston can dish out. Little Bill and I nearly froze our balls off countering these weenies....but it's a good thing that the new crop of socialists are "fair-weather" protestors.

Freep on......

I'd like to do this again this coming weekend while I have the free weekends. When summer arrives, and business gets busier, the Evil Capitalist Industries will require me to work on Saturdays. If anyone else is interested, there is a pretty nice bar and grill just footsteps away from the "Hate Free Zone" for the after action action.

Uncle Hambone,

Add me to your ping list. I want to keep posted on what the NH Freepers are doing to give the lefties a good case of heartburn. You're doing a great job. Many Kudos!!!!!

First off, you're awesome! Second, if you do get a chance to speak to the peaceniks, go ahead and tell them you admire their dedication, The peace group in my town stopped doing street protest (except for a vigil on the 9/11 anniversary) after we freeped them once, even though they outnumbered us fifty or sixty to two that day. They haven't held a meeting since last summer, and they only had three people show up to that.

The next time you people meet I will also be there with a placard stating "No killing inocent civilians for oil". The armed forces are looking desperately for recruits to wage their war for the rich folks.Show how American you are and sign up!

You signed up today to tell us all that you cannot think for yourself and that you hate the military?
Go jump in a lake troll, and take your patchouli stink elsewhere.

If this truly was about oil as you assert, then WHY DOES GAS FOR MY CAR COST MORE?

How about a placard that reads:

No Killing Innocent Civilians For ALLAH.

Or is that too much for your trollish butt to handle?
