Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, the well-known forensic pathologist and coroner of Allegheny County, Pa., told listeners of a morning radio show that he was denied permission to observe Terri Schiavo's autopsy, despite the wishes of her parents.
A medical examiner in Pinellas County, Florida, is conducting an autopsy that could help determine what Schiavo's state of consciousness was and whether she was abused by her husband, as the Schindlers allege. Wecht, appearing on the syndicated America's Morning Show with Quinn and Rose, based in Pittsburgh, said that an investigator working for the Schindler's law firm had called him on Thursday to see whether he would be agreeable to observing the autopsy.
Dr. Wecht told Quinn and Rose he was certainly be agreeable to that, but that several hours later he received word that the medical examiner had declined to give him permission.
Dr. Wecht told the morning hosts that he considered this a mistake, according to Rose Somma Tennent. "He said that, if this were in [his] office, [he] would have said sure - not just because of professional courtesy, but because of the controversy sourrounding this case," Somma Tennet said.
Calls made during the show to the medical examiner's office were not returned.
The results from the autopsy are expected in a few weeks.

Ok, I know a little about the case of Lisa McPherson, but I do know she starved to death by a Scientology group, but what did the Coroner's office have to do with it?
Actually, George Felos is going to become VERY WEALTHY. Michael may think he is, but I think he cares more about satisfying his appetite for spite than anything else.

Yes he probably said, "There is too much suspicion and disagreement over this, so let's fix that by looking like we're trying to hide something."
He has a spokesperson....Felos....Michael is so overcome with grief on becomming a widower, that he's gone into seclusion with his other "wife" and their 2 kids.
I have a record of a call made to their office wherein I cited the bone scan done on Terri 53 weeks after her collapse, along with websites to locate it, and the report by the NAMED physicians at morton plant hospital, and I also spoke to the denial of judge greer to investigate this scan, date and time and where to find the pdf file.
I also EMAILEd the actual bone scan report to both Dr. Thogmartin's office (the county medical examiner) and to DR. Pellan's office (the investigative medical examiner there).
So these men have EVERY REASON to peel back Terri's body's skin and tissue and INVESTIGATE the bone injurys....they were SENT the specific locations of the massive bone breakage. And I sent the EARLY CT scan results of TERRI..the were NORMAL for six days and then BOOM! A massive trauma to her head, while she was in the hospital, done who knows how...SHOW AN ABNORAL READING and EEG READING TOTALLY DIFFERENT from her first CT SCANS.
Sounds like someone was VERY UNHAPPY that she was NOT as injured as immediately thought and worked to CORRECT that one pronto! Kindalike....SILENCING HER FOREVER!
The fix is in. Schiavo and Felos are pond scum and always have been pond scum. How smart do you have to be to figure this out? To figure out this case is built on Mikey Schiavo's lies starting with the lie that Terri told him she wouldn't want to live the way she did in her last 14 years
