I agree. The Schindlers should handle this however they think is best for them today. Unlike their daughter, they're perfectly able to determine their own wishes. Some people would be happy to deprive them of that opportunity unless they get Michael Schiavo's permission.

Am so impressed with what the family had to say even though hurting so much. I hope the media honors their wishes and allows them to grieve in private.

Savage talked about a man, an owner of an indian restaurant in S.F. who has said when she dies he would close his restaurent in memoriam, as it would not be right to go on feeding people when she was so cruelly used up. Closed permanently, I mean. That's a Mensch.

Can someone explain to me how starving to death is "peaceful?" The dumb FOX NEWS reporterette just stated that.
If that's true, then why don't we simply starve convicted murderers to death, if it's so "peaceful?"
