Oh, no, Americans won't be able to forget Terri. Emboldened by success, the Liberals are already tossing around terms like 'productive' people, 'quality of life', etc.. They will whine about the lack of funds for medical care and the need to cut corners. They've already sorted people out as to who gets what when they're senior citizens. If you have cancer and you're in your late sixties, maybe you won't get aggressive treatment that might possibly save your life. You'll get palliative treatment...well, actuarial table say you'll only be around maybe ten years, so be satisfied with the little you get. And they'll come for those who can't speak for themselves, the mentally retarded, spastic, ailing, profoundly handicapped, and then there are HIV infected people and those with AIDs. Although that lobby will doubtless scream loud enough so they won't be moved to the Kill list for awhile. This has incredible implications for America, the kind of people we are, and where we're headed.
