The only "failure" on the part of Congress has been their inability to confirm qualified judges to the federal circuit courts, and U.S. Supreme Court.

There was a bipartisan consensus in favor of saving Terri Schiavo. Unfortunately, the wishes of the legislative majority were overridden by a tyrannical state jurist.

Yes, and I believe they are emotional responses to an outcome that none of us wanted to see happen...to try and lay this at the feet of the Executive/Legislative Branches is absurd!!
