The loss our wonderful country has suffered today may never be recovered.
God help us all.
Something keeps going through my mind. This reminds me of when Princess Di died... the public displays of profound sadness by people who did not even know either Princess Di and now Terri.
If the rest of us feel such sadness, imagine how those who loved her best must feel. While we all feel sadness, our prayers must be most especially with her family.
I think we all feel such sadness, for many reasons, but mostly because we see in Terri, the faces of those we love and hold most dear to us. We cannot imagine and don't want to see one's we love suffer.
To be sure, Terri has served a purpose much greater than herself.
>>Are we not all to blame in some way for allowing this country to fall so far from one that honors life, through lack of prayer, and lack of activism?
>>I changed political parties after 32 years. I saw the Democrats as worshipers of death. I saw the Republicans as the party of life.
>>I never in a million years would have thought that they would sanction her murder by an adulterer husband, and a runaway leftist judge. They could have intervened.....and didn't. They have to live with that now.<<
And now you have to live with your membership in the Republican party -- unless, that is, that you finally see that neither the Dems nor the GOP is for you...
What will it take for people to get it? You don't have to be either one or the other. People are such sheep.
hugs to you, dear Anna, and comfort to you and all who are aching over this.
2Timothy 4: 6-8
For I am even now ready to be sacrificed: and the time of my dissolution is at hand. I have fought a good fight: I have finished my course: I have kept the faith.
As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming.
This is a sad day.
Yes, this is the clarion call to those of us who watched this process in disgust. I intend to become involved in seeing to it that goons like Felos/Greeer/M.Schiavo can no longer 'get off' on watching an innocent die by starvation and thirst. (... and probably a good dose of morphine).
We must see that those responsible are brought to justice of some kind whether it be ostracism, impeachment or whatever. If we don't deal with them, I think God will deal with all of us.
Priest blasts Schiavo's husband as 'heartless'
Parents' adviser issues bitter denunciation outside hospice

Michael Schiavos heartless cruelty in insisting that his wifes feeding tube be removed so she would die continued to the end of her life as he refused to let the womans parents be with her at the end, said the Rev. Frank Pavone.
Pavone said Mary and Bob Schindler, who had battled Michael Schiavo for years to keep their daughter's feeding tube in place, wanted to be with their daughter when she died. They were with Terri Schiavo until 10 to 15 minutes before her death, but were then asked to leave, Pavone said.
"And so his heartless cruelty continues until this very last moment, he said.
This is not only a death, with all the sadness that brings, but this is a killing, and for that we not only grieve that Terri has passed but we grieve that our nation has allowed such an atrocity as this and we pray that it will never happen again, the priest added.
By the time the Nazis started in on the Jews, Gypsies, etc. they had already starved to death about 500,000 "defective." So today we have made a beginning it would seem.
How dreadful for the Schindlers to watch their daughter die like this. It used to be "No man is safe while the legislature sits."
It's the judges...
WPPFF?
If Michael intended on marrying Jodi in a Catholic ceremony I hope the Church excommunicates him before he can.
I thought that California voters had resoundingly rejected an "assisted suicide" referendum, when it was placed before the voters, back in 1990.
I didn't say anything about Reagan's motives.
The fact is that he pulled all of our troops out of Lebanon when 243 Marines were murdered.
Bush would not have left that action unavenged.
"But he should never have announced he had the authority, and then failed to immediately use it."
"If he would now do as you say, and remove some judges, and reform the laws, he would regain some moral authority in my eyes."
We have seen what he didn't do, and now we will wait to see what he will do.
May the good Lord rest her immortal soul.
And may He have mercy on us all.
