Well, my grandfather just died in December under Hospice care. It was nothing like what I am hearing goes on in Florida or elsewhere. The Hospice came to his home and my Grandfather was never left alone with the nurses. They were all nice and just were there to give him his meds, keep a notebook on his condition, and help him do whatever he needed. Of course my grandfather didn't starve to death! He died about a day after he feel unconcious and he did eat the last day he was awake. His kindeys failed all on their own and we knew they were. I think Hospice is a good thing in a lot of situations, but for me and my family I plan to make sure that the service we go through is a Christian service that believes in dying naturally, not starving to death or killing!

That's what I've been saying.

No hospice for me! I'd rather die at home.
