The dehydration-lovers sure have lots of loyal police on their side. I am surprised.

You're surprised that the police are on the side of the law, whether or not they happen to agree with it?

Yes, there is the concept of selective inforcement. Do you slam water smugglers? Or do you maintain order while watching water pass by? I know lots of police who inforce the law but aren't going to jump a poor man's pick up truck over a crack in the windshield. They wouldn't bust an old man carrying water either. It is also called common sense.

Did you read post #13??? Your expressed opinion is identical to the Nazi position: that the "law" requires blind obedience, and that those who follow orders are without blame.

There could be a more humane way to dispatch teri but we put people like Dr Jack Kevorkian in jail for such things. I'm sick of hearing how inhumane it is to be starved and thirsted to death when there is another alternative. I suspect those complaining about the death by starvation would also not be in favor of letting Dr K out of jail and legalizing euthanasia.
