sometime I would like a discussion as to how professional doctors and nurses and therapists can ignore the good of the patient and cowtow (sp?) to the next of kin.....

isn't there something about ethics that would prohibit professionals from mistreating a patient, no matter who tells them to do it??????

There are other reasons some medical professionals mistreat patients as well. One day I will tell you how this HMO doctor that I went to for the 1st time, for pain in my wrist that wanted to put me on prozac for depression. I looked at him like he was crazy. The man did not know a d_ _ _ _ thing about me other than my complaining about my wrist.
