because a disproportionate percentage of those catagories are stupid, violent, petulant, lazy, and drug addicted, and it is profoundly incorrect to say so.

You forgot to mention that 1/4 of all black men between 20-35 are in jail or on parole. Not exactly ideal employment candidates. Further, if you exclude suburban blacks and include only inner city blacks, these guys are really bad employment candidates.

I'm a registered, loyal Republican, but I'm still willing to admit that our beloved president is a human being capable of making serious mistakes. His stance on immigration is one such mistake. I have little idea of the etiology of this error but I hope that, a hundred years from now, historians will not find that his brilliance in saving America and the West from conquest by the forces of terrorism is overshadowed by his error in admitting millions of illegal immigrants to the former United States.

I highly recommend that you read more of what Professor Hanson has written. Ask Tolik to put you on the VDH ping list. I do not argue that you should "disbelieve" the President, although I don't put much stock in what Vicente Fox has to say.

I agree, his trying to meld the failed state of Mexico with modern America will be seen as one of the great blunders of human history.

What planet are you from? The Mexican illegals I deal with encompass a high percentage of rateros - rat people. They don't want to speak English, they are thieves at the drop of the hat, they are completely uneducated.

I ought to know too, Las Vegas has a high proportion of immigrants and of those, 40% are illegal. I helped start a Spanish TV station - which was at one point fire bombed by a lovely illegal - i could have lost my life. Then there were the nice guys who helped move my office, then came back and cleaned out my storage shed. I have plenty of stories how nice these people are.

Maybe 15 years ago they were all the salt of the earth, not now.
