I believe the Schindlers did not have the legal representation they needed to fight the army aligned against them. It's a sad sad day that cases are decided not on their merits or constitutional importance, but by how high-profile or fashionable your attorney is.

That's the impression I got, too, from sifting through these reams of information- they were "outlawyered."

I don't think any lawyer could have brought about a different outcome. I believe Felos judge-shopped to get a judge who detests the handicapped--once he was successful in that, the outcome was predetermined. Remember, Greer conveniently disregarded any testimony that would not support his predetermined conclusion that this innocent woman should be murdered.

I agree, the average family would be overwhelmed by this and in shell shock. The media, ambulance chasing lawyers, those arrayed against the family with their own agendas.

Speaking of attorney's..

Does anyone know how David Gibbs was selected to be the Schindler's attorney? Also, who is Robert Destro? He was on one of the morning Cable News Programs.

Is there any thing the Schindler's lawyer could do...step down, and say he made some terrible mistake and Terri needs new representation?
