Thanks for your hard work, Heavy Equipment Guy. I have to bookmark this and come back to it later, when I have more strength of spirit.

Thanks for looking. I know what you mean by "more strength of spirit"-- this has been a taxing issue from many angles. I had to disconnect my first wife from life support after a stroke got her, although in her case there was no question her brain was gone. And she had specifically told me to do this in such a case. Besides that, she was handicapped-- c-5 quadiplegic... one level higher of break, and she could not have breathed on her own. Even so, we had eight good and happy years together. There's more to life than being fully able-bodied, contrary to what some people think.

So this subject digs its claws in at several levels. But I do know this- we are witnessing the forced killing, under color of law, of an inconvienient person, and this is an abomination.

There are those who don't want people to see the difference between letting someone go and forcing them to die because they are inconvenient.

This affair is a threshold moment.

An abomination it truly is - and spitefully contrary to human nature and natural justice.

This political 'crime of omission' will have real consequences for those politicos who toyed with this poor woman's fate. The 'wheels of the gods' etc.
