I just got a call from the Republican National Committee asking for money. Boy did I give the poor guy and earful :), in a nice way of course. I used the wonderful line I heard here the other day "I'll have to say - like Jeb Bush 'I've done all I can'".
I told them exactly why and said - even if they in all honesty believe they cannot do anything else legally (which I don't believe) they could at the very least be using the "bully pulpit" to help turn the minds and hearts of public opinion and help get the truth out about all this. He was very pleasant and said thank you - who knows if my opinion will be made known beyond his little desk but maybe if enough of us do that it will make a small difference.
I have done the same thing. And will for the foreseeable future.
