Just spoke with one of the Florida Sen's office...they are done with session for today unless called to special session. Committees are meeting this afternoon.
I asked about the supposed commitment mentioned by JJ yesterday. As far as they know they do not have 3 more votes to ok the bill and it would have to be brought up for consideration by one of those who previously voted no.
Argghhh!
TODAY: Jesse Jackson met with Jeb Bush. Subsequently he met with Senate President Tom Lee. That's all I have. FV
They need two. They don't have two? What a pity.
if JJ could get 2 . . . then why could not Jeb or GW get one more themselves . . . or more? ouch.
