GWB tried at least. His brother still holds the keys to Terri's life but refuses to save her. I don't know how he can sleep at night. Last time I saw his ugly face on TV, he looked tormented but I think pride will not allow him to step in now. He would look even more foolish. He has made the fatal mistake. It is sad beyond belief. This is his legacy: He let Terri be tormented and tortured by unjust men and he turned his back on her and walked away.
I don't want to pretend to read Jeb's mind, but this is what has occurred to me: Did he possibly think that if he put in a stop gap measure to save her that he'd run into the same "unconstitutional" situation as before...and would, therefore, be putting her through the same torment a fourth time?

Not only did Jeb walk away and ignore the legal advice of groups like the Thomas More Society, but he said he was "concerned" for MRS too!
I'm extremely disappointed with Jeb. I know he could do more for Terri. Did you happen to see the pic of Laura Bush? She looks very upset. I emailed her last year, asking if she could help Terri. She's a good woman, but all she can realistically do is pray along with the rest of us.
