Our efforts haven't failed as long as Terri is breathing...
Since last night, I have had a renewed and strong sense that GoD wants us to keep praying. He wants to hear from us. Which is why I haven't been on much because that is exactly what I'm doing...

Heavenly Father - We come before You asking for Your Divine Healing Touch on behalf of our little Sister, Theresa Marie. We come before You with one voice asking for a miracle for our little Sister. Please comfort and sustain Terri's Mother, Father, Brother, Sister and all members of the Schindler family. Please give us a shot of Faith to believe for a miracle. We pray in the Blessed Holy Name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
I should have phrased that better. I meant our efforts to get Bush to act when we wanted him to. I've always believed that we should pray for His guidance...and then wait for His answer. Unfortunately, I didn't do that myself. I prayed and called and emailed and worried. I was so depressed I could barely function. When that avenue seemed closed, I felt a sense of calm and I knew I had to let Him handle it His way.
I don't presume to speak for the Bush brothers, but don't you think it is possible they have prayed and the Lord has told them to wait? Perhaps they had the same message we were all receiving last week..."Be still and know that I Am God".
If it had just been Republicans stepping up, the fighting over this issue would be horrendous. Now with Jackson entering the fight there will be Democrat support. Just because we wanted our leaders to take action, doesn't mean that God did.
God always answers prayers but sometimes we don't recognize the answer and sometimes we don't like it. His ways are perfect and His will is perfect. I have not given up, I've just given it to God. Pray for His direction and go where He leads.
