So the injunctions weren't a county level thing, the orders to the police were from a state court and not a local court - no wonder the state police administrators were uncomfortable about getting involved.
Talk about constitutional crisis. And legally, Jeb would have been the one to step over the legal edge if he had pushed it once Greer injuncted the DCF. It would have gone to the next level of appelate, which would have ruled against Jeb.

All because Greer's state-level court could say it was legally enforcing the wishes of Terri (because it had been legally ruled this is what she wanted, by going through the legal channels). The death campers would say we were infringing on her legal rights, and by the way the laws were written, and the rulings given, we would have if we pushed past the injunction.
Our only course was to have some way of proving MS and his family perjured themselves about Terri wanting this.
This is what happens when you have really good lawyers fighting against less skilled lawyers, and people willing to take advantage of laws that look decent until you push them into an immoral use.
