After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Mel is a good and decent man. This situation today should grip the hearts of all of us who know Christ. What about those who have disabled children? What about those who have parents in Nursing home facilities. The entire country should be gripped by fear for their loved ones who aren't "perfect". To be termed a "useless eater" is the most disgusting term I have heard in a long time.

This national tragedy has given me a chance to talk to my children about medical care. They know what is at stake because several of them are nurses.

I think it would be a good idea if thousands and thousands of Republicans began emailing the RNC with their Resignations from the Republican Party. They could give a short explanation of why. "The treatment of Terri Schiavo and the obvious pro-death stance of the party"!!

This is why I feel so passionate for Terri's cause. I am the mom of a 25 year old severely autistic,deaf son, a 14 year old cerebral palsy, special needs daughter, a autistic 13 year old granddaughter, and a great aunt to a 20 year old autistic /non verbal nephew!!!! Sad day for us!!!!
CBS News has report about man who had to sell off everything including IRA, just to be indigent enough to get his wife on medicaid. Too bad Florida didn't have those requirements.
In TX, one cannot legally resign from a political party. All he can do is not vote in the next regular primary, March 2006, and then he becomes an "unaffiliated voter." The RNC has not the first clue of the trouble it is in. Kenneth Mehlman, new RNC chairman, yesterday actually said that Terri's death would not "hurt" his party!

I'm kind of numb but just think of what we've learned. We know who our friends are and who our enemies are. We have fasted and prayed and loved like never before. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn around for good.
I love Terri so much - and her family has been an example and inspiration to me.
The bad guys will get theirs and I feel sorry for them. They are enjoying their "victory" now but later on when the judgement day is upon them, look out! I wouldn't want to be anywhere near them.
What kind of an example is Michael Schiavo to his two children? Think about that and your blood will run cold.

The media ISN'T going to get it. I refuse to have it on any more. I can get the weather here on the internet. Does anyone know of a Christian Television station that has news from a Christian perspective?? I am done with regular TV!!!!

Why do people put bumper stickers on their cars at all? They put them there to make other people think. And who says that all I'm doing is putting a bumper sticker on my car?
