After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

Amen!
We are praying here in Texas, too. I don't post often but I'm on this thread every day and praying for Terri and for the TRUTH to set her free!
Nanette, please call if you hear anything - I need to get busy with P's school for today so can't get on until noon.
What are they talking about? Are they going to bring up the bill at all?
AMEN!
I'm not listening to it anymore...back to prayer.
Amen! In Jesus' Name!
Michael Schiavo's girlfriend avoids media glare

CLEARWATER, Fla. - (KRT) - The other woman in the Terri Schiavo case has been trapped in her house for two weeks, desperately worrying about the safety of her children and their father, Michael Schiavo, who is away at his dying wife's side.
Protesters who vilify Jodi Centonze - and warn her she's "next" - come to the house regularly. So do reporters, including one who has been sitting outside the house for three days straight, though she grants no interviews. There have been death threats, and cops now patrol around the clock.
"It's stressful. She is a prisoner. She's very concerned about Michael and the kids," said family friend Russ Hyden. "But she and Michael are trying to maintain whatever's left of Terri's privacy and dignity, so they are staying private."
Steve Schiavo, one of Michael's brothers who drove down from Levittown, Pa., as the family gathers to see Michael through his wife's death, put it simply: "She's afraid."
Centonze, 40, who shares Terri Schiavo's one-time dark good looks, met Michael Schiavo at the dentist's office about 10 years ago. They live together in a quiet suburban development with their two toddlers, a boy and a girl.
She is the Florida-born daughter of an auto mechanic and made her living working at insurance companies.
When they met, Centonze had been divorced after two car accidents in eight months left her in pain and a third car accident killed her father.
Schiavo was about to give up on years of trying different therapies for his wife, whose brain was severely damaged in 1990 when she went 10 minutes without breathing after her heart stopped.
Back then, Schiavo was still on good terms with his in-laws, Bob and Mary Schindler.
"It took Michael a long time to consider the prospect of getting on with his life," wrote Jay Wolfson, a court appointed guardian for Terri Schiavo, in a December 2003 report to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. "He was even encouraged by the Schindlers to date, and introduced his in-law family to women he was dating."
Through the years of ensuing court battles and recent media hoopla, Centonze stayed in the background, supporting her boyfriend and visiting his brain-dead wife, even doing her laundry.
"Sometimes I feel as if it's almost a spiritual thing, like Terri sent Jodi to him," another Schiavo brother, Scott, told The Tampa Tribune.

Anyone know the bill#?
Who is the chair in the senate? Is it that the chair has stacked all of this ahead of the one for Terri in an attempt to stall?
Cry me a river.
Thanks....but looks like it's an overload problem. I'll just keep watch this thread for updates.....
Bobby Schindler was just on the Laura Ingraham show.
She asked Bobby about Terri not being able to receive Communion yesterday.
It was MS himself who refused to allow Msg. Malanowski to give Communion to Terri on Tuesday.
And on Sunday when the Msg. was not allowed to give Communion himself to Terri, that was actually a court order.
Laura as a Catholic is of course uncomprehending that we now have reached a point where a woman who is dying can be denied her religion (as Terri was in 2003, I remember it very well).
Laura can't understand why Felos is even allowed in Terri's room. Bobby says he has a fascination (maybe he used a different word) with death.
Just a couple of things to report from what was a very moving interview.
Laura is terribly upset by Terri's plight. One of her callers from either WY or Montana, can't remember, said everyone in his town is absolutely pulling for Terri, her name is never far from their conversations, said he never had the chance to meet Terri, but he wished he could have a brother like Bobby.
Interview is over now.
Jodi Centonze wants Terri dead as much as Michael does.
I pray for their children...I feel for kids growing up with that duo.
Not that I've heard!
But I had to leave the room for a bit......
There sure isn't much to report so far. I believe they may soon address the plight of the Snickle Whack Tweekie Bird.
These folks have no intention of helping Terri...judgment day is going to be very interesting as they people stand up and say, "But, Lord...Lord...!"
