After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

The full 12 judges at the 11th---and they have worked all night before and may again...I am not sure.

I know this may sound crazy but every now and then through the course of these last 12 days I'd get a picture flash in my head of Terri being brought out on a gurney, still alive and headed to a hospital.

Hugh Hewitt has been talking this for about a week now on his radio program.
And there's much analysis on his website about this egregious error.

Sen. Santorum was also talking about this last week.

What took so long for the attorneys to get this before the appeals court?

It was painfully obvious that Whittemore was advocating for Greer, in assuming that the Schindlers did not have a chance to prevail in a "de novo"
review. He was prejudging the evidence before it could even be entered into the record. He assumed that Greer's findings of the facts would prevail again in the new trial.

He's NOT ALLOWED to do this!

Somebody on the radio (I THINK a guest or caller on Levin's show) said that George SOROS is helping to back this financially. While I can't corroborate that, I would not be surprised based on this story:

In 1994, emigree billionaire Geroge Soros wrote a check for $15 million to finance the Project on Death in America (PDIA). Its goal was to “transform the culture of death in the United States.” By 2003 when the PDIA ended its grant making and closed the program, it had distributed $45 million to organization and individuals working on end-of-life issues. Altho, the project is closed the work goes on. Is a large part of that work to make doctor-assisted suicide legal? It would seem so.

On the May 18th Fox News O’Reilly show, investigative reporter and best selling author Richard Poe gave an expose on Soros. Poe claims Soros is a maniacal figure who fancies himself as a New Age Messiah and that his philanthropy funds abortion, atheism, drug legalization, sex education, gay marriage, and globalization. He is out to destroy America as we know it, says Poe. In a Newmax cover story, Poe writes of the dark purpose behind Soros’ $200-million “Project on Death” program. Soros, who authored The Bubble of American Supremacy, is bankrolling the Democratic party’s attempt to unseat President Bush. Militantly anti-religious, Soroswrites that "devout believers of any sort are idiots who shouldn't hold public office."

WOW....I wish. I could not leave the computer. I have been here almost non stop except for helping my 14 year old special needs daughter with a report. She is such a blessing to us, in our senior years.

I remember, last time on the 11th Circut Court of Appeals it took until 3pm in the afternoon for them to issue their decision. They accepted one day and then the next day was a long wait...

I think that after 24 denials they may have just felt "why bother", maybe after all the ruckus about how the court erred in their interpretation of the statute, the court decided to look again...no matter how you look it it, at least we have another couple chances here, now Terri needs to hold on and we need to pray for her to gain strength rather than lose it..LORD GIVE HER SOME OF MY ENERGY, with each drink I take and every bit of food I eat, please strengthen and nourish Terri!

I am in awe of how much stuff is coming to light through Terri's fight. The evil is deep and wide.
