After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I learned in school the basics about judges.
THEY ARE NOT GIVEN, UNDER THE CONSTITUTION, ANY POWER TO ENFORCE THEIR OPINION. That is BEYOND their constitutional powers.
You must have gone to school in the dark ages, Nic!!< sarcasm >.......Our children now are learning that the JUDGES are KINGS.THEY RULE the LAND.
That is very probably the truth. I'm sorry to say.;-(
I hope it's that rather than purely intentional.
And good to see that Savage is on an upswing and actually listening. Some say, too late; I think Terri is going to confound conventional wisdom, and live long enough for us to do the right thing.

Hannity filled his show today with the same warning about possible action in the Florida Senate. He used phrases like "slim chance" and "window." I hope Terri can hang on through tomorrow. I suppose the senate may be a chance... after senator King has a couple dozen donuts and finishes swaggering and speaking on God's behalf.
Yeah, there might be another buffet he wants to make sure his fellow senators don't forget about.

Yes, I had excellent schooling...and that was on the left coast, Southern California.
We HAD to take American Government in high school and must have had a very good teacher, because I remember a lot from the class.
I also remember having to memorize the Gettysburg Address while in elementary school.

Saundra, NONE of these men will really get away with it. You can be sure of that. The is ONE who will avenge the defenseless and it is a fearful thing to fall into those hands.

yep, I was educated on the same left coast of So.Cal too, nic. I can remember those good ol days!! No fences around the schools. No graffiti, a REAL cafeteria, with cooks in their white caps!!! I can still smell that homemade soup!! We really have come a long ways haven't we!!! sigh!
