After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I had heard that mike did indeed pull the tube himself!
I won't ever forget, either.
If we show the Republican Party that they ought to stop taking us for granted, maybe next time it won't be a lesser of evils - maybe it will be clearly good against evil.

I posted that on another thread last week then someone else fleshed it out a little more. TEJ had the article on the woman working at the jail then someone mentioned that it's where Schiavo works. Bingo!
The head Medical Examiner will do the autopsy. There's too many buddies for me to believe it will be honest.

It's remarkable that Terri is doing this well, after 10 days of dehydration.
I think it's the hand of God. She did have Holy Communion on Sunday.

Unfortunately, while she is still conscious, she is getting worse. Someone mentioned that her urine output stopped last night, and that is usually followed by kidney failure.
A doctor a while ago said that actually kidney failure could be reversed, because she is healthy and young, if the started to hydrate her NOW, but by tomorrow, her organs may start to fail.
It is a miracle, that she has been alert and awake through all this, and has been feeling this barbaric torture.
You really think Michael Schiavo is going to care what the Catholic Church or the Vatican have to say about ANYTHING? I sure don't!!
Maybe they could tell Greer he could come back AFTER he repents. It's not like his sins are that small. He's a murderer.

Girl, I'm so sorry you received hate mail. That's bizarre - but on the other hand, I'm sorrier for them. They just messed with the wrong gal... ;)

I feel the same way, I am sure Terri and her family does too -- we all just keep waiting to find out that it was all a nightmare and she will be saved at the last minute. That this just can't really be happening.

I totally agree!!! I've never, ever sobbed so hard over anything in my life. I love the Schindlers and Terri so much.
I will never be the same again. Our world has been forever changed. Some may deny this fact, but that won't make the horror go away. If Terri is not saved from this Murder, I don't know what will happen to any of us.
I can't hardly stand to do regular tasks. Every where I go, I tell people about Terri. While walking around in a grocery store, everything looks the same, but it's just an illusion. It's not the same. Our precious Terri is still in danger and being tortured.

That's exactly it. It's like everyone is on autopilot, just programmed to have fun while ignoring the real and darkening world.
