After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Maybe I shouldn't say this to you, but I am going to anyway. I have noticed that you insert yourself on nearly every Terri thread only to be mean and insult others. Your snide comments are really more pathetic than they are cutting because clearly, you are compensationg for something missing in your own life by tearing down others. I pray that one day you will find compassion in your heart for others, even those that you disagree with. I also pray that finding that compassion doesn't come at a heavey price to you.

I was quizzing florida voter about how something like this could happen down there. She didn't seem to realize what I was getting at, but she mentioned that to me.

Some thought even before last Sunday night's vote that the GOP was posturing and knew that the national Terri's Law was a hoax. It had no enforcement mechanism. I imagine some of the GOP congressmen were duped by the leadership, not fault of theirs in that case. But who were the dupes and who were the deceivers?

Our daughter used to work for a Republican U S Senator. We looked to the Republican Party as having Christian values,as a way to save this great nation. If they do not support our values, we will have not one thing to do with them.
I heard the autopsy will be done to evaluate her brain damage. I'll bet they won't examine the rest of her.

There are alternatives to Rush -- if not talk shows, one can listen to oldies music from many stations through Internet. I may drop Rush in the next few days after 15 years of regular listening. I am just tiring of the way he accommodates power establishment types.
But he's a decent man.

Hannity really had me more than annoyed for several reasons, but I'll give him props here. And as I said, he seems to be learning the Terri Schiavo case as he's going along. I can tell that he's picking up the facts from interview to interview, and it's making an impact on him. If he keeps it up, I think he'll come to see the Bush Boys' unfulfilled responsibility in all of this.
BTW, I don't see it as Bush bashing. People are angry and outraged because it's so clear that either Bush could save Terri. It may be difficult to admit it, but these people are right! The Bush Boys are our last best legitimate hope, and they are SO not lifting a finger as Terri is SUFFERING.

It seemed to me Sean really changed and Terri wasn't just another news story after meeting Terri's family.
I don't think the Bush boys will suffer from our remarks near as much as Terri will suffer for their failure to act.
Yes, he said that "...I even feel sorry for the husband...." That's part of the soundbyte I actually heard.

When Jesus was crucified Mary Magdalene & Simon tried to ease his pain and weren't arrested. Now we see people who are trying to aid Terri get arrested including young children. WHAT HAVE WE BECOME?
